Hickory Edinburgh was chosen as the exclusive catering partner for The Sands Centre, a major leisure and entertainment venue located in the north of England. This marked their first contract win outside of Scotland and the team were excited to bring their unique catering, events, and venue services to this new market.
The Sands Centre is currently undergoing a £27 million transformation, funded by Carlisle City Council and operated by GLL. Once complete, the venue will combine two existing sites and provide entertainment, leisure, swimming, and eating and drinking facilities all in one place, with an estimated yearly footfall of over one million.
I was invited to design the branding, signage, literature and website for the Riverside Food Cafe, Bar, Restaurant and Terrace.
It was a pleasure to work with the Hickory team on this exciting project and I am continuing to work with them on an ongoing basis.
